Council would like to acknowledge the enormous contribution made by Geraldine Atkinson during her terms on Council. Aunty Gerry has made the difficult decision to resign from Council, to better allow her the time and space for her important work as Co-Chair of the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria.
Since 2016, she has contributed to all Council’s work but has particularly supported its work with Traditional Owners not yet formally recognised and the broader wellbeing of our People.
We thank her for her commitment and wish her well in her ongoing fight for our People.
