On 11th September, the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council partnered with the Barengi Gadjin Land Council Aboriginal Corporation (BGLCAC) and the Institute of Public Administration of Australia (Victoria branch) to deliver a very special event on Caring for Country.

Speakers were Stuart Harradine, representing BGLCAC and Rodney Carter, Chair of the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council.

The event was attended by more than 300 people online and included a healthy discussion on matters affecting caring for Country and protecting Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.

The next Caring for Country event will be with the Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation on Friday 16th October and you can register for this free event on the IPAA Victoria website.
