

This recognition of Aunty Eleanor's lifelong service to Aboriginal Cultural Heritage, to justice and to education is profoundly important to Victorian Traditional Owners and a significant step towards understanding the principle of self-determination for mob everywhere.
As an inaugural member of Council, Aunty Eleanor’s contribution to Council until her resignation in 2018 was significant. We thank her for her insight, passion and commitment to the protection and celebration of Cultural Heritage.
